Full Description
Remains of a possible shieling recorded during walkover survey carried out by AOC Archaeology in May 2019 ahead of a proposed woodland creation scheme (NO26SE0017). Located around the periphery of the fields. It comprises a very degraded, sub0rectangular turf structure with slightly curved walls. It measures 7m by 3m internally, the turf banks 0.5m high and spread to 1.5m wide. Partly built over by post and wire fence.
