Full Description
Remains of grouse butts recorded during walkover survey carried out by AOC Archaeology in May 2019 ahead of a proposed woodland creation scheme (NO26SE0017). They are circular structures comprising double faced stone walls, revetted into the slope. They measure 2.5m by 1.5m internally, the walls surviving up to six courses and 0.8m high.
