Full Description
Remains of possible clearance cairns recorded during walkover survey carried out by AOC Archaeology in May 2019 ahead of a proposed woodland creation scheme (NO26SE0017). They comprise moss and heather covered low mounds of stone under turf, and measure circa 4m in diameter, standing up to 0.3-0.4m high. Possibly part of a prehistoric field system associated with the hut circle to the northwest (NO26SE0028).
