Full Description
Line of grouse butts depicted on current OS maps, and recorded during walkover survey carried out by AOC Archaeology in May 2019 ahead of a proposed woodland creation scheme (NO26SE0017). They comprise walls of 6-7 courses with an entrance on the east side, The walls are 1.2m high and 0.8m wide, with turf piles around the outer edge.
