Full Description
Field system comprising stone clearance heaps, lynchets and occasional field walls. The cultivation plots measure between 30m by 20m to 20m by 15m. The east edge of the system is bounded by a stone wall (possibly consumption dyke). Graham (1957) recorded a possible hut circle which could not be located by OS site visit in 1971. Graham also noted an oblong enclosure marked by set stones, which lies at NJ01093908 and is sub-rectangular, circa 3.7m by 2.8m bordered by a band of stones about 1.2m wide. Eight plots are defined by rickles. A linear clearance heap extends southeast from the southeast side of this enclosure.
