Full Description
Former school, depicted on historic OS maps. The 1st edition 6 inch , 1869, map shows a rectangular building annotated as Roman Catholic School. By the time of the 2nd edition OS map it had been extended, and annotated Further buildings had been added to the north. The school was built in 1795 as the original St Andrew's Church. After it was replaced by the present St Andrews it became the home of Auchendryne School educating the Catholic children of the village. the Photographic survey of the northwest outbuilding was carried out in 2013.
