Full Description

Remains of at least three longhouses visible on aerial photographs. One unroofed building is depicted on the OS 1st edition map. A map of 1822 shows three buildings to the west of the burn. RCAHMS field visit 1993 recorded the remains of four buildings all aligned roughly east-west, with rubble faced footings with square corners and entrances in a side wall. The largest building measures 18.6m by 3.5m internally. Photographic recording was carried out by S Davison in 2024.
