Full Description

The remains of a drystone wall, recorded during a walkover survey that was carried out by Highland Archaeology Services in 2015 prior to the proposed constructed of a power generation scheme with associated infrastructure. An archaeological watching brief was subsequently carried out by Highland Archaeology Services later in 2015 due to the dismantling of part of the south-west section. Around 10m of the wall was removed. It was found to be a single phase, double-skin and rubble core construction. It had been constructed directly onto the topsoil with no foundations. No negative features or artefacts were identified.
