Remains of shielings on a fan north of the Linn of Corriemulzie gorge outlet recorded during survey in the mid 1908s. Remains of two longhouses with square enclosure and nearby stone clearance heaps are noted in this area. There are stone embankments to contain the burn when in flood. An old track runs down to a ford just below gorge outlet. Remains, comprising turf covered banks, were recorded during a walkover survey that was carried out by Highland Archaeology Services in 2015 prior to the proposed constructed of a power generation scheme with associated infrastructure. A series of low grass-covered banks were recorded. Two structures were recorded: a rectangular structure measuring circa 12m by 4m, and a second structure measuring circa 11m by 4m.
