Full Description
Remains of depopulated settlement. At the roadside is a longhouse fronted by a stone-edged plot in the form of a lynchet with some stone clearance heaps. Above the road is a partitioned longhouse, 17m by 5m, near two curvilinear banks, cut by a track, which appear to form mill reservoirs. A longhouse, 17m by 6m, sits on a knoll summit. Upslope there is a longhouse, 14m by 5m, with an enclosure attached. Stone clearance by the burnside appears to be mainly from contemporary cleared land. At the burnside above the road a semi-circular structure is set against a field dyke while at the roadside there is a structure, 15m by 5m, with a lade beside it. Another longhouse, 8m by 5m, lies downslope below the road.
