Full Description
Remains of a small sub-rectangular shieling type hut recorded during field visit by G Logan in November 2021. It is suggested to pre-date the fermtoun to the west (NO16NE0024). It measures 2.6m by 5m with an entrance to the west. A small on-edge stone lies at right angles to the entrance internally, as found on other buildings of this type. The footings of an external curved wall start from the north gable and extend round to the south, possibly forming a small working area.
