Full Description

Remains of a dam on either side of the Derry Burn a short distance north of a modern bridge, where the burn enters a gorge. The dam is well-preserved on the west of the burn, where it comprises a battered wall of earth faced with rubble. The stub of dam-wall on the east side is present but less prominent.
