Full Description
Remains of a possible enclosure recorded during walkover survey was carried out by Cameron Archaeology in June/July 2015 to assess damage on the Mar Lodge estate resulting from flooding in the wake of storm Bertha. It measures circa 12 m by 45 m, the walls standing circa 1.5m high. It may be a natural feature. The feature was not noted during walkover survey carried out by Highland Archaeology Services in February 2023 alongside the river in advance of instream river restoration works (NO08NW0055).
