Full Description
Remains of at least three buildings also a garden plot. The foundations of one of the buildings is grass-covered. Ruigh nan Clach would have been occupied at the same time as The Red House (NO08NW0037), and has a similar design to the later phase of The Red House (Kidd and Bain 2000). It was a gamekeepers cottage in the mid 19th century. A standing building survey was carried out at this site in 2000 by Kirkdale Archaeology.
