Full Description
Remains of small buildings, probably shieling huts. OS 1967 recorded the remains of a two buildings, suggested part of a depopulated settlement. The northernmost measures circa 10.2 m by circa 2.3 m internally, the other circa 7 m by 2.5 m, the walls 0.5 m thick and standing up to 1 m. Only these two buildings appear on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps but remains of three more buildings are shown on current OS maps to the northeast. See also NO08NW0022).
