Full Description
Shielings, comprising the remains of at least three huts situated on a broad terrace above the haughland of the river. The huts are aligned east-northeast to west-southwest and measure from 3.5 m by 1.8 m to 7.6 m by 3.1 m within grass-grown banks up to 2 m in thickness and 0.3 m in height. Outside the entrance to one hut there is a shallow depression which may have been the site of a midden.
