Full Description
Remains of a shieling hut. It lies on the grass-covered haughland to the north of the burn about 15m from the track. It has rubble-faced walls and an entrance on the south side with an outshot on the north. This was within the study area for DBA and walkover survey carried out by Highland Archaeology Services in February 2023 in advance of instream river restoration works (NO08NW0055), but no feature noted at this location by the walkover.
