Summary

Remains of an upstanding drystone boundary wall with parallel drainage ditches located on either side were recorded by CFA Archaeology in 2022 during evaluation trial trenching works for the HVDC Peterhead Convertor Station (EAB14478).

Full Description

The wall was aligned east-west, measured a maximum of 1.1 m in height, a width of 0.7 m and approximately 270 m in length across the site. The parallel ditches were approximately 1.5 m wide.

The boundary feature is shown on the OS 2nd edition map and current edition maps.
