Full Description
Possible remains of a promontory fort. A large rocky stack stands circa 600 m to the south of Boddam Castle. On its surface a seat, formed by a block of masonry, has been built on top of the footings of a possible L-shaped structure circa 5 m by 10 m. Remains of a second building, 5 m by 11 m are visible on the east side of the stack near its northern tip. There is also what appears to be a rampart, 3 m wide by circa 0.9 m high along the landward side of the large rocky stack called Dundonnie.
