Full Description
Windmill dating from the late 18th to early 19th Century. A tall, tapered tower, almost 14m high and 5.4m in diameter at ground level. It is constructed of squared and coursed red/pink granite. On the lintel above the doorway on the north face is the date 1822. About 7m above the ground level around the outer face is a row of holes about 15cm square at 1m intervals, which were probably sockets for the reefing stage. The tower appears to have had four floors. Disused at least since late 1880s.
