Full Description
Remains of a fort. No trace of defences were noted around perimeter when the site was visited in 1971. At lower level a terrace is formed by scarping of slope. Entrance in south where terrace widens to circa 13 m to provide space for an additional defence in the form of a short length of ditch flanking a break in the outer defensive scarp. In 1991, after the clearing of trees from the fort interior and perimeter, a low bank could be seen on the southern edge of the interior (IAGS).
