Full Description
World War II pillbox of Type 24 construction. It is fifth in a line of eight from Craigewan to Scotstown beach. Site visit in 2022 as part of the SCAPE Coastal Zone Assessment Survey noted that the pillbox was then half buried. Site visit in May 2023 as part of a walkover survey by Environmental Resources Management in connection with the proposed Salamander Offshore Wind Farm (NK14NW0120).
