Full Description

World War II Pillbox of Type 24 construction. 2nd in a line of eight from Craigewan to Scotstown beach. The Pillbox Study Group recorded a pillbox in sand dunes at a location a short distance to the north (NK1175048650) but nothing was found at that location during site visit in 2022 as part of the SCAPE Coastal Zone Assessment Survey, and suggested that this is the same pillbox.
