Full Description
Well, found 0.45m below present surface exposed by road resurfacing. Some stone steps were uncovered leading down to it, the rest were assumed to be covered by the pavement. The only alteration to the well was a water main which cut through it. The well was full of water when discovered. It was covered again by road resurfacing.
