Full Description

Farmstead, still in use, depicted on historic OS maps. It is shown on the 1st edition OS map as an L-plan and a rectangular-plan building. On the 2nd edition OS map an L-plan building has been added to the west. Current OS maps depict the earlier L-plan building as being a ruin. A Level 1 Standing Building Survey was carried 2017 by MAS out on the two buildings shown on the 1st edition OS map prior to proposed demolition. The rectangular-plan building is recorded as a one and a half storey partially harled building that has been previously fully converted for domestic use, although it may have originally been partially domestic in use. The now derelict L-plan building is recorded as having been used as a byre and mill.
