Full Description
Remains of what looks like a small railway halt recorded in 2022 during the SCAPE Coastal Zone Assessment survey. It comprises a short concrete built platform, circa 13 m in length on which is a metal frame for a structure with some corrugated iron roofing remaining. A metal rail is visible in front of the platform. The main railway line ran circa 35 m to the southwest and no sidings lines are shown at this location on historic OS maps. It is possible it relates to the military features in the area.
