Full Description

Farmstead, still in use, depicted on historic OS maps. The 1st edition shows a long L-plan range, with a long rectangular building to the east and an L-plan building with garden to the south. To the southeast of the garden is a rectangular building, a mill, and sluice with a large triangular pond to the south By the time of the 2nd edition the north end of the L-plan building has been removed, the easternmost building appears to be roofless. The pond appears to have been drained. Current maps indicate further additions to the long steading range. A building survey of the former mill was carried out by MAS in 2015. It is built of rubble stone, the roof corrugated iron at the time of survey.
