Full Description

Former poorhouse, depicted on the 1st and 2nd edition OS maps. It was built circa 1854 by the Parochial Board and Kirk Session. In 1904 the building could accommodate up to four men and four women as well as an attendant. The building has since been extended, now a dwelling named The Poor House. A building which stood to the east has been removed.
