Full Description
Farmstead still in use. On the 1st edition OS map it is shown as a narrow U-plan building with the court open to the southwest. There is an extension to the southeast and another smaller building to the east. The east side of the farmstead is partially wooded. By the time of the 2nd edition OS map the U-plan building has been modified by the construction of ranges which form an almost completely enclosed courtyard, open to the southeast. The smaller building to the east is now shown as L-shaped. The 2005 map shows that both these buildings survive in modified form, the court of the larger building being infilled. Photographic recording of the steadings was carried out in 2023 ahead of proposed development.
