Full Description

Farmstead still in use. On the 1st edition OS map it is shown as comprising three buildings, an L-shaped building at the south, with a rectangular range to its north and a smaller rectangular building to the east. To the south-west is a pond with a sluice. A mill lade leads away to the south-east. By the 2nd edition OS map the pond is marked as having a dam and the northern range is now L-shaped. A further building is shown to the south of the original buildings. This is a compact L-shaped building. The 2006 map shows that the three original buildings have been incorporated into a large steading and that the smaller building has two small disused sections. The pond is not shown, but its site has not been redeveloped. The lade is still shown.
