Full Description
Possible stone clearance heaps located in an area formerly wooded, now partly whin-covered. A few stone walls are evident but insufficient survives for classification as a field system. Tumuli are depicted on the OS 1st edition and 2nd edition maps and they are traditionally thought to be the burial places of those killed in an alleged 11th Century battle.
