Farmstead and dovecots, still in use. To the south-west of the steading are three dovecots which are probably early 19th Century in date. They are circular, of pinned ashlar with eaves courses, conical slated roofs and conical roofed cupola features having flight holes. The centre dovecot is larger with later gothick spirelet. The steading is of courtyard plan with detached cross building in court, single-storey and loft, of pinned squared granite with semi-elliptically arched cart sheds. There is a pedimented centre northwest front. The 1st edition OS map shows an E-plan steading with courts open to the southwest, and a separate long range immediately to the southwest. Northwest of the steading is another L-plan building. To the southeast is a rectangular pond with sluice to the south-east. The 2nd edition map shows the long range to have been joined to the steading resulting in a quadrangular plan, open only in its south corner, and with a range - the central wing of the former E-plan - in the middle of the court. The pond is now shown with a mill dam. Another rectangular building has been added west of the steading and that to northwest of the steading has been enlarged. The 2005 map shows most of these buildings still in use. The pond has been infilled.
