Full Description
A line of anti-tank blocks run along the edge of the beach northwards from the pillbox (NK02SW0004). . A review of vulnerable beaches from April-Oct 1941 included Forvie, identified as being 'blocked with mines'. Later the whole of the beach, some 2km , was blocked by a line of cubes which are visible on aerial photographs taken in the 1940s. Mine clearance took place in 1944.
