Full Description
Farmstead, still in use, depicted on historic OS maps. The 1st edition shows a quadrangular steading with an attached horsemill on the west side, with two buildings to the east, two small buildings to the south, and a T-plan house to the southwest. By the time of the 2nd edition the smaller of the eastern buildings had been removed and the other extended to an L-plan. The two buildings south of the steading had also been removed and two new small buildings are shown west of the north steading wing. There have since been further alterations and additions. A whin-mill stone (a roller stone) was noted in a neglected condition near the farm in 1925.
