Full Description
Walled garden and Gardener's Cottage of Strichen House, depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps. The cottage sits in the northeast corner of the garden, with attached outbuildings on its southwest side. The garden is irregular in plan, particularly on its south ad west sides, and had glasshouses on its north and east sides. Recent aerial photographs indicate that the glasshouses are now derelict and in woodland, the interior of the former walled garden is under arable cultivation. The cottage is no longer in use and was largely destroyed by fire in 2016.
