Full Description
Remains of a small circular structure, possibly a hermitage. It is circa 3.7m in internal diameter and is probably ornamental, associated with 19th century Strichen House. Believed by W Anderson to be an old prison. It contains in its wall an armorial stone with the initials T F, and the date 1580.
