Full Description
Farmstead depicted on the OS 1st edition map as a U-plan steading with court open to the southwest. The most northerly range extends further to the west than the southern range, with two attached projecting buildings to the north of it. A cottage lies to the west and the house to the south. To the north is a small building and enclosure on the western side of a wood. The farmstead retains a similar plan on the 1888 map edition but an L-shaped building now lies to the west, between the farm and the cottages. The small building to the north is now a ruin. The house is cottage style, one and a half storey, designed by Mackenzie and Matthews 1851.
Period Notes
House built 1851.
