Full Description

Crichie House is said to have been built circa 1715 but it may be the site of an earlier manor with the name of Crichie/ Little Creichie/ Denns House (N Bogdan). It is depicted on the OS 1st edition map as a small squat L-shaped building with another smaller attached L-shape to the north. On the 2nd edition map a different structure is now depicted with a long range extending to the coach-house and stables in the north. Both maps depict a designed landscape around it. Today the house has been altered with the stables now divided from the house.
