Full Description
It is a somewhat altered group of 1-storey and 2-storey rubble buildings, the most impressive of which is a 2-storey, 3 by 7 bay store, with external stone stair, and elliptical arched cart entry. To the rear are the overgrown quays and a small dock on the River Ythan, marking the end of the navigation from Newburgh. It was closed in circa 1920.
The site then formed part of an egg packing station. It later became part of the Meadows Park Industrial Estate in 1986, before that in turn was replaced by residential housing built just prior to 2006.
