Full Description
Farmstead, still in use, depicted on the OS 1st edition 1867 map. This shows an H-plan steading with a rectangular building to the southeast. These had been significantly altered by the time of the 2nd edition OS map at which time it was named Menie Home Farm which shows an L-plan and a square-plan building, with a new L-plan building to the east. The latter has since been removed, and the other buildings further altered. NJ98252000 is recorded as the site of an 18th-19th century mill depicted on Robertson's map of 1822, but survey by AOC Archaeology 2006 did not locate the mill. Survey noted that the site is now occupied by a residential property.
