Remains of a 17th to 19th century designed landscape of Menie House (NJ92SE0118). The remaining policies, around 125 acres, are nearly all parkland as the estate was bought for its timber in the 1950s and a sawmill and stackyard were built to the north of the walled garden. The remains of the stackyard are now occupied by buildings used by maintenance staff for the shooting estate and mostly appear to date from the 20th century. Shelter belts, a strip of deciduous woodland and some small copses survive. No specimen trees remain. The former drive is being replaced by a new one to its north. There are various ponds constructed from the field drains, with the remains of a bridge. The walled garden has a six-foot high rubble wall with round coping to the east and a lower north wall. The higher wall is possibly for protection from the salt winds coming from the sea. At NJ9789320398 are two large boundary stones propped up against the estate boundary. The home farm, a U-shaped steading with horsemill within the south facing court and a smaller building to the east, is shown central to the estate on the 1st edition OS map but it has been removed by the 2nd edition OS map (at that time the farm to the east (NJ92SE0133) formerly Mill of Menie is now named Menie Home Farm). The 2006 map shows that the site of the Home Farm has been partially redeveloped. East of Menie House the OS 2nd edition map shows an H-shaped building, now named Menie Park and in use as offices. South of the house, the OS 1st edition shows a rookery, but this does not appear on the OS 2nd edition map. A walkover survey in 2006 identified two large earthworks interpreted as shooting butts. The first, at NJ9725320295, is roughly circular, 4 m in diameter and 2.5 m high, constructed of earth, rubble brick, slate and tile. The second bank is at NJ97812081, stands up to 5 m in height. At the southeast corner of the estate, circa NJ97851995, a large pile of boulders at the intersection of three field boundaries probably represents field clearance.
