Full Description
Remains of settlement and field system comprising at least four hut circles and stone clearance heaps. Hut A is circa 14.5m diameter bounded by wall spread of 2.5m all round, no apparent entrance. Hut B, circa 8.5m diameter, wall spread 2.5m with a mutilated entrance in the northwest. Hut C, circa 9m diameter with wall spread 2.5m, has no apparent entrance, but attached to north-northeast side is a circular annexe 5m in diameter. Between the huts there are a few stone clearance heaps. At NJ97702977 is a previously unrecorded hut circle, slightly platformed into west-facing slope. Between huts A and C there is an area of rig and furrow. The rigs are narrow, 1.5m wide and between 3 and 5m apart running approximately north-south on a north-facing slope.
