Full Description

Temporary brick building, dating from World War II, a guard hut/rest quarters. Recorded in 1998 by D Harding. It is of brick with cement rendering externally, and is labelled 'Rest Hut 2' on a plan of 1945. The south front facade has a central doorway and two windows, east and west elevations each have two windows and the north has chimney. Internally it was divided into a large room to the north and small room at the south. Visited by Cameron Archaeology in 2014 although there was no access to the interior at that time.
