Full Description

Former corn mill, of 18th-19th century date. The 1st edition shows a rectangular building (mill) alongside a lade fed by two mill ponds to the west. There is a rectangular building south of the eastern mill pond and an L-plan building with attached garden enclosure to the east of this pond. By the time of the 2nd edition map the mill had been extended to an L-plan and a rectangular building had been added on its west side. The building south of the pond has since been removed. The mill is rectangular one-storey and basement rubble building with skeleton of a six-spoke overshot wood and iron wheel, 0.48m by 3.66m.
