Full Description

Bowling pavilion within Duthie Park (NJ90SW0989), dating from the early 20th century, depicted on the OS 3rd edition map on the northeast side of the bowling green. It is a single storey, 7-bay rectangular plan building, with painted horizontally boarded timber walls. There is a full-width piended canopy to the principal (southwest) elevation, supported on segmental arched and timber columns with distinctive capitals. Building survey was carried out by Cameron Archaeology in 2012.
