It is a single storey, 12-bay building on a rectangular plan, later extended by 4 bays, and subsequently by another 4. It has round-arched windows and pilastered bays, with mainly small-pane cast-iron framed windows. The 2nd edition OS maps shows a turntable to the east of the shed.
