Full Description

Former girls school, now in residential use, endowed in 1830. It is a small single-storey building of harl and slate. A projecting porch is inscribed, 'Endowed by George Hogg MDCCCXXX'. It is annotated as a 'School (Girls)' on the OS 1st edition map, and as 'School Cottage' on the 2nd edition. A photographic survey was carried out in 2017 prior to proposed alterations and extension.
