Full Description
Remains of a cairn, an artificial earth and stone mound, up the side of which runs a flight of steps. On the top stood a later tower which has been demolished, but now a small view indicator occupies the site. It is part of a group of about 40 cairns, varying in size, with at least two linear heaps of stones amongst them. In the 19th Century a number of other small cairns were removed from Blue hill, probably in a field to the east.
