Full Description

Fragment of a drystone wall and boundary stone. The stone is a granite pillar, roughly rectangular in section with a flat top. The large incised letter L on the west side probably relates to the Loirston Estate. It does not appear on historic OS maps. Also recorded during site visit in May 2023 as part of the SCAPE Coastal Zone Assessment Survey. The wall is parallel to the coast path, probably that depicted on the OS 1st and 2nd edition maps.
