Full Description
A watching brief was carried out by Aberdeen City Council Archaeological Unit in October 2009 on test pits related to closure of a landfill site. No archaeological features or artefacts were recorded. Subsequent monitoring in 2010 on groundworks for a new pedestrian access track and drainage recorded the drystone wall which once formed the boundary between Ness Farm and the railway, but no other archaeological features.
